Not sure if anyone is still around here… but…
    Butt…

I am not typically a player in my ground, I’m pretty much always the GM. So I thought I’d share some of my proto-ideas.

Okay, first thing was possibly a bit too much? I don’t know.
In Ordure. Terlet Mountain, a nearly-sheer sided mountain except on one face where, about halfway down, a plateau juts out then slopes down to ground level. On the plateau is a shallow basin, surrounding a lake fed by a stream emerging from the side of the mountain.
In the basin is the town of Böhl, known for its fine wines since the water from the mountain is thick with minerals which leads to strong vineyards, and unique berries floating in the water.

There are still a few of us wandering around here. I think the number of peeps may increase once Re-Dredged comes out.

We are always glad to see new ideas posted on the forums, thanks for posting, and I look forward to your next idea!

Since I’ve been playing so much Baldur’s Gate and the like (damnit GOG, leave my wallet alone!) and my love of conversions/crossovers:

    Tales of the S-Word Coast.

Thinking of doing some conversion of Forgotten Realms (Forgotten Oith?).

…of course, Forgotten Oith would need Dark Smelves (since they are all over the original material, oy).
My image of them tends to be: bouncy behind (big butt instead of nose), orange skin (opposuite green), and some manner of trait where they can generate a Reek once per day from their butts (drow had spell-like powers after all).

These are incredible ideas, Elizabeth! I love the whole Terlet Mountain jazz. Incidentally, dark smelves (dorks) are introduced in the new Low Life redredged book, which will be out soon.

In the meantime, check out what we have in the works at http://www.thewholehole.info. It’s not ready for the public yet, but it’s a great place to post ideas like you have here.

    Terlet and Bohl

I was imagining the local Boss as having a floating palace-barge in the lake. And maybe some kind of lift system with a balloon-port at the summit or something.

Dorks (Dark Smelves) are in Whole Hole Keister Island. Lol it took until I saw the picture that I got Bohl – That’s genius 😀

Shouldn’t the Boss of the Bohl have a giant floating log palace? Constantly harassed by his arch nemesi the “Scrubbing Bubbles”?

    Heh!
Well, I had imagined the barge as several logs lashed together (accumulated over time and all). But yeah.

I’m also thinking the area might suffer from duckies. Or maybe the boss has even tamed (so much as you can) a flock of them as guards!
    Terlet Ducks.

Has anyone else ever considered using the Super Power Companion on Oith?

Flying twinkie with a cape, come on!
    😆

Random adventure location: The Gawt Mines, a cavern-stronghold of bandits convinced that they are the only non-thieves in the world. Everyone else is stealing from them. Especially local Bosses, whose envoys and representatives are constantly being harassed by these jerks.
They rob from the rich, and the poor, and give to themselves. Anyone attempting to recover stolen goods is attacked while being called ‘Thief!’

Is there any religion that directly venerates Mutha Oith, like Chauntea/druid style? I know the fungish are pretty down-to-Oith and all, but more the world as a whole.

Not yet, but you can certainly detail one! We don’t have the style guide complete yet, I would recommend looking at how Andy models the religion descriptions in Keister Island!

I may toss around some ideas on that then.
