The citidel of Butfore, sitting contentedly amidst wide fields of villages in the independant bossdoms. No one occupies it, but it is maintained as a defensive position… just in case.
That’s what is is for after all.08/12/2015 at 6:46 am #48191
A large and prosperous town in That One Place With All The Sand, surrounding a prominent tar-pit. Sales of tar make it a wealthy but strange place.
Leader: Sim of Tar – a pretentious man who wields an imposing curved sword that actually dosn’t hit nearly as hard as you’d think. Has ambitions to create Tar Nation.
Guardian: Tarna – a female bodul warrior who wears far too little protection but wields a smallish straight-sword that hits a lot harder than you’d think. Ride a Taradactyl.
Spiritual Leader: Av of Tar – a bottomliner who claims to be a physical embodiment of wealth.
Fauna: Tar’s Ants – monkey-ants that live in the ‘oasis’ trees, swing from vines, and wear loinclothes made from animal skins… of animals not actually native to the area.
Organization: The Ca-Tar-Graphers – silly peeps who are working on a tar-diving suit to explore and map what they assume to be tunnels and channels deep within the tar pit.
Law: The Tar-Kin – hoinks who maintain an air of aloof detachment but are also know for being pitiless. Ranked by “Moff” with more prestigious sounding prefixes (great, grand, supreme, etc) than you can shake a sword at.08/12/2015 at 10:30 am #48192

Arcane Background (Stupor Powers): special powers, enhanced stats, and other zazz you can do when you’re too cronked to rememeber that you can’t.01/25/2016 at 3:22 pm #48448
I dig it!01/25/2016 at 3:26 pm #48450
I was thinking more savage worlds core than SPC, where you have skill in any powers you have individually, 20 base PP, that kind of thing. So, you get massively blitzed and remember how to fly or throw crud projectiles like bullets.01/27/2016 at 2:16 pm #48453
Couple of questions:
What attribute is the power based on (Vigor maybe?)
PP is flat instead of something like attribute + 10?
Give us some answers oon those and a spell list and we can write it up!01/27/2016 at 2:19 pm #48455
Hey Elizabeth long time no see!01/31/2016 at 11:13 am #48460
Yeah, I tend to wander in and out of subjects randomly over time.
Well, the original super-powers in SW core has each power with its own skill, but not associated with any ability (so it always counts as ‘lower’ to increase with xp). It also gives 20PP flat to start. I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on redredged, so I don’t know if things are different in there.
I could see Vigor + something for Power points at least. And the spell list would probably be entirely personal-effects (get drunk, remember how to fly; or how to be stronger; or walk on walls).04/19/2016 at 8:38 am #48540
May be running a dung-geon crawl for my group soon.04/22/2016 at 10:19 am #48565
