I thought I would start a thread to share my painted Low Life Miniatures here. I’ve got the initial set based and some of them primed, and I have now finished my first one: “The Guy With The Killin’ Stick.”

I had a lot of fun painting him and I’m looking forward to starting the next one.

There are a couple additional pics of this Horc, on my blog: http://menaceminis.blogspot.com . Hope you all like him.

looks great but your link is broken. just takes me back to the front page of the forums. the wood-grain effect is quite nice. i have no patience for that kind of thing myself. lol

i’ve always meant to ask Andy – is this guy supposed to be wearing a shower curtain, or a drape or something? That’s how I interpreted it anyways.

Yeah, I thought we were done with the Red Menace about the time we were done with Hasselhoff, but clearly I was wrong.

He could very well be wearing a shower curtain.

That is probably the single most beautiful horc I have ever seen. You have some incredible talent red menace.

Thanks again for the kind comments from everyone. Here is the next mini from the batch that I painted: Trozzgoxx the Lobe. I changed the colors from the official illustration a bit.

I hope you like him too. There’s a pic of him standing next to the Horc on my blog as well, if you’re so inclined. Thanks.

Thom, I just saw the question you posted about paints. I mostly use Reaper Master Series paints. I bought myself this set a few years ago and those paints are the bulk of what I end up using. For these minis I also bought a few cheap Craft Smart brand paints in neon colors. I know that for the “Guy with the Killin’ Stick,” I used Craft Smart “Spearmint” paint for that base color. Hope that helps.

I painted it quite a bit different than the illustration. There’s also a back view on my blog if you are interested.
