Black coat, black shoes, black hat, Cadillac… The boy’s a timebomb.
Great. Now I’m listening to Rancid again.

I don’t have my character in yet, but I’ll rejoice anyway because I’m just like that.
I really, really, like this idea and wish to be a part of it.

Quite possibly. The one I’m doing right now is just a straight re-skin of a short Deadlands Reloaded adventure, and wouldn’t feel right posting it anywhere freely downloadable, but everything after that is all me.
I love one sheets because, y’know, everything is there on one sheet… despite my tendency to expand every one that I’ve ever ran into…[Read more]

That is a mighty fine map, sir.
I’m thinking about sketching one up for Borf, but will probably just end up with one for a teensy town further inland from Borf tentatively named Bald Kid.

Will do, man. I’ll get it to you sometime this week while I’m in full-speed Low Life mode. I’m working on the first two adventures for the campaign I’m kicking off next week for my meatspace group, y’see.
Let me know what you’re stuck on macro-wise and I might be able to help out. Either here or we can hop on Roll20 one night and figure it out…[Read more]

Well. Scratch that. As responsibility has that awesome way of kicking you square in the short and curlies while showing you crude and horrifying crayon drawings of your mother, I will sadly not be able to make it this year.
We’ll pin partial blame on finances, but the majority goes to me “volunteering” to work a huge banquet at the supposed…[Read more]

I logged on to play around a few days ago, and was surprised at how far its come. It left me wanting to play _something_ on it again.
Thom, I don’t have any top-down tokens but I do have a bunch of pog-style tokens I made years ago kicking around somewhere on an external drive.

Neato.
I mainly cobble maps together in GIMP. I only played around with the early versions of CC ages ago, and Dundjinni a little after.
Can you import textures and such into CC? If so, do you know about the CSUAC? I have no idea what the acronym stands for anymore, but it’s a huge honkin’ collection of textures, objects and such gathered for…[Read more]

Yep. That would be a HAL joke.
I think I’d prefer a random encounter thing to stay as a neat website gizmo. I really have never used or liked the things, honestly, but it would be fun to play around with. Devote book pages to other things, I believe.
Aside from whenever the heck I get around to putting a character sheet down for the MOUES, I…[Read more]

I’m sorry I can’t do that, Thom.
Daisy… Daisy…
Repping at your local stores and cons is something everyone can get in on. At the very least just drag your normal group to the local shop to play, answer any questions from curious passersby.
Or just be that dude who hangs out with the books visible on the table beside him as he putters…[Read more]

I’m still trying to figure out the logistics of the 12+ hour drive, but I’m thinking we’ll leave sometime Wednesday and be in during the wee hours of Thursday. I don’t want to miss anything, you see. I may have to have you guys come physically drag me out of the bed and chuck me in the shower with a pot of coffee, cigarette and stale danish from…[Read more]

Well, as of now it looks like the missus and I will indeed be attending Con on the Cob for the first time. As in, days off work scheduled, funds being squirreled away, and officially registering will likely be a part of my birthday shenanigans tomorrow. Funny enough, it will also be my first real convention.
The 12- to 15-hour drive up there will…[Read more]

Yeah, I saw the picture on Faceyspace. I’d wager it was a mighty fine time. Also, it looked like Andy knocked his shin somethin’ fierce on the table.
On a side note, yay Southern vernacular.

You almost sound like YOU have done some Publishing work?!?!?!
Nope. Just some editing for a friend’s comic series before he started working for an actual company. ‘Bout it.
I was mainly just referring to the fact that one-page adventures are fairly easy to write. Make it one scene or just fairly broad.
As for pretty layouts and templates,…[Read more]

I’m still Crudeboy over at the other forums. I’d totally forgotten that I’d registered there before the new MOC site came about.

It’s a quick, easy and crazy addictive game. Yeah, I’d give Target a look. Amazon also currently has it for like $27, and ships for $12 or so.
The only reason I didn’t buy in earlier than I did was that I was put off by the $40 core box price. Saw it at Target for $20, bought two on the spot, and have amassed a decent collection of rebel ships…[Read more]

Collaborative project? Heck yeah, mark me down for this as well.
I’m also fond of the idea of fan-made One Sheets. They’re not difficult to pull off.

I have done both! … Just not enough for my liking.
On a side note, the updates are good to hear. I know you’re doing what you can, homey, and that’s alright by me.
