Top of the morning (or the time of the day of your choice) to you, my friends. As is the custom around here, and the style of the times, I present to you December’s State of the Oith Address: a comprehensive and incomprehensible update on all the goings on around here.
Low Life Miniatures
We are sending the Plorp Balloon, the coblins, Zub Trooxle, and the lichentrope to the foundry this week.
I just spoke with Jason and he is currently working on Smert Happytree, the Werm of the Danged (a redo because the first one was too small), and the Mutant Land Fish. Hopefully we’ll have pictures tomorrow and they’ll be ready in the next week or so.
We are working on casting some of the minis in house, now that Con on the Cob and Oddmall are over. The first attempts at the Queen Mutha should be happening pretty soon. I’ll keep you updated as we go.
Low Life ReDredged RPG
The Low Life book is nearing completion. I know I’ve been saying that for months, it’s just that every time I think I’m almost done I think of something new to include or I get sidetracked by other stuff (my mind wanders, it’s how I roll). This time for real, though. I’m hoping to have it completed by the end of next week. I’ll then send the PDF version to all the kickstarter backers and get the print version of to the printers. I may wait a week or two between sending out the pdf and sending the goods to the printer so I can get your feedback and make any needed changes.
At that point we’ll get back on track with Low Brow – High Adventure, the Boss Blocker, and the other associated products.
G’Zoink is moving along smoothly and is on target for the projected March release. The art is completed for the expansions, the first set is complete and all is well.
For those of you who haven’t been in the loop lately, my man Greg Dunn has joined the MOC crew. He’s really been a great help getting me organized and helping Krystal and I with a lot of the jobs we’ve been too busy to do ourselves. Now that he’s here I anticipate things will run a lot more smoothly. he’s also organizing and reformatting the Oithlings clams and all that jazz.
Con on the Cob
Very exciting things happening with Con on the Cob. We’re moving to new digs next year. The new venue is much larger and has a lot more to offer than our previous lair. Oh man! You need to go to the website and check out the maps and stuff. It’s very, very cool. Not only that, we’re running a special this month that nabs you a FREE custom CotC d6 if you register for Con on the Cob this month! Super exciting, as I said…
There’s a 4th of July in December sale going on for Oddmall: Emporium of the Weird (Ohio Edition) this month. If you nab one vendor booth you can get a second for HALF PRICE!!! What an amazing bargain… I think I need to sit down.
We sent out a large chunk of Kickstarter backer rewards yesterday. The peeps who are waiting for plushies, capes, or hats may have to wait a little longer. The hats that came in were not up to snuff and I am having them remade. Krystal has been overwhelmed with holiday orders, but she’ll get the plushies and capes made as soon as she has a chance.
The Whole Hole and Living Low
I don’t want to give anything away that might be top secret but check out the in-progress goings on at www.thwholehole.info and you might pee a little.
The Wanderers Guild
In response to popular demand, we are ushering forth a resurgence of the acclaimed Wanderers Guild series I did back in the day. It’s on the burner, but check out www.wanderersguild.info for a sneak peek.
Weekly ebay Auctions
This week’s ebay auction is one of my favorites. It depicts the canals and various buildings in the city of Floom. Bidding starts at only fifty clams…
